Overview
Accurate cubicle detailing begins with finished-site information. A single room width is rarely enough. Walls may be out of square, floor levels can vary and concealed services may affect fixing zones. Recording these conditions early reduces assumptions during quotation and installation.
Room and opening dimensions
Record the finished internal width and depth at more than one point. Note columns, ducts, nibs, ledges, skirting and wall projections. Mark the washroom entrance and the direction in which users approach the cubicles.
Floor condition
Check finished floor levels, slopes, drain positions, floor build-up and any restriction on drilling. Photograph transitions and note whether waterproofing or under-floor services require special coordination.
Wall condition
Identify the wall type and finished thickness. Record tile, stone, cladding or other finishes. Mark concealed plumbing and electrical routes where known. Wall-supported or floating systems need verified fixing zones.
Ceiling condition
Record the finished ceiling height, structural support information, service routes, access panels and level changes. This information is essential when a ceiling-hung system is being considered.
Cubicle layout information
Confirm cubicle count, WC centre lines, divider positions, door swings and any accessible cubicle requirement. The planning image can be used as a reference, but final dimensions must follow the approved project design and applicable requirements.
Product and finish information
State the preferred CubiclePro system, panel material, typical thickness, profile or support family and hardware direction. If these are undecided, provide the application and design intent so suitable options can be compared.
