Overview
Where a washroom already has masonry or suitable partition walls, a complete cubicle system may not be required. Pro Doors provide a defined door solution for measured openings, subject to substrate, fixing and alignment checks.
Approved Pro Doors configuration
The approved product description uses a 12 mm Compact HPL door, powder-coated aluminium D-shaped wall poles and Nylon PA-6 hardware. The door uses a three-hinge mounting arrangement and opens inward, with left- or right-opening options as required by the layout. These details replace any earlier generic statement that hardware is simply selected by application. The published Pro Doors page must use the final approved configuration.
Survey the opening
Measure width, height, wall thickness, floor level and diagonal alignment. Check whether the opening is plumb and square. Record tiles, stone or other finishes that affect the fixing face.
Confirm the substrate
The visible finish does not confirm that the wall behind it is suitable for fixing. Substrate condition, concealed services, edge distance and required anchors must be reviewed before approval. Damaged, weak or hollow construction may require remedial work by the project team.
Coordinate door movement
Confirm inward opening, left- or right-hand orientation, WC clearance, user circulation and the position of nearby fixtures. The lock indicator and door knob should appear together on the public face where specified. Hinges and coat hooks remain internal.
When Pro Doors are useful
They can support upgrades where existing partitions are retained, measured openings require new doors, or a project needs a coordinated HPL door solution without rebuilding the complete enclosure. Suitability remains project-specific. CTA: Send clear opening dimensions and photographs through Technical Enquiry for a Pro Doors review.
