Overview
Junior Cubicle dimensions should never be taken from an unrelated product image or a generic adult layout. The correct proportions depend on age group, supervision, privacy, hardware and the approved school or institutional requirement.
Use the exact age-band record
CubiclePro maintains four named Junior records: LittleSteps for up to 5 years, Explorer for 5–10 years, Horizon for 11–14 years and Youth for 15 years and above. Each detail page should show only its own approved dimensions and construction information.
Consider privacy and supervision together
Younger users may require a different balance between privacy and responsible supervision. Older students generally require greater visual privacy. This choice should be made by the institution and design team, not assumed from a single standard image.
Review door movement
Door width, opening direction, clear circulation and finger-trap risk need deliberate review. Locks and knobs must be reachable by the intended user. Hinges and coat hooks should remain on the inside and be represented accurately in technical visuals.
Coordinate panel shape and edges
Curved or shaped panels create the visual identity of a Junior Cubicle, but fabrication, edge quality, rigidity and cleaning access still matter. Panel profile should be selected from the approved record or agreed as a custom configuration.
Plan the complete room
Junior washrooms may also include low-height basins, urinals, UMPs, adult or accessible facilities and teacher or staff provisions. Cubicle planning must work with the entire room, not only the partition elevation.
Treat dimensions as project data
Published reference dimensions support early planning. Final dimensions must be checked against the intended age group, site measurement, plumbing layout, applicable accessibility provisions and the approved project specification. CTA: Use Technical Enquiry when an architect or school team needs dimension, profile or hardware clarification for a Junior Cubicle layout.
