A Complete Guide to Commercial Restroom Cubicles in India

Commercial restroom cubicles are coordinated systems, not simply panels placed between toilets. Panel grade, profile or support construction, hardware, mounting condition, dimensions and site interfaces all affect how the completed washroom functions.

Overview

Commercial restroom cubicles are coordinated systems, not simply panels placed between toilets. Panel grade, profile or support construction, hardware, mounting condition, dimensions and site interfaces all affect how the completed washroom functions. A useful specification therefore begins with the building and its users, not with a finish selection.

Begin with the application

A corporate office, school, hospital, airport, factory and hospitality property can have very different usage patterns. Consider expected footfall, cleaning frequency, privacy, accessibility, supervision, wet-area exposure and maintenance access. These factors help define the right system direction before details are finalised.

Select a suitable system family

CubiclePro offers aluminium, stainless-steel, box-up, floating and ceiling-hung system directions. Titan Black uses black powder-coated aluminium profiles with nylon hardware. Nova uses anodised aluminium profiles with SS 316 hardware. Supernova and Supernova+ provide stainless-steel system options. Base Box and Base Box Pro use a shoe-box support approach, while Float and Sky Hung create leg-free floor expressions through different support configurations. The appearance of two systems may be similar, but their fixing and support conditions are not automatically interchangeable. The selected system must match the approved layout and the available floor, wall or ceiling interfaces.

Confirm the panel specification

Compact HPL and BWP-FR High-Density Board are different material categories. Their suitability depends on the selected grade, application and approved specification. Typical panel thicknesses offered are 12 mm and 18 mm. Other suitable thicknesses are available depending on project requirement and approved specification. Do not assume that every grade carries identical moisture, fire, impact or warranty performance. Certificates and manufacturer terms must be checked for the exact selected material.

Coordinate hardware and profiles

Locks, indicator hardware, door knobs, hinges, legs or supports, wall channels, door-stopper channels and top rails must be coordinated as one system. Hardware visible from the public side should be shown accurately, while internal hinges and coat hooks remain internal in system visuals.

Measure before manufacture

Record finished wall-to-wall dimensions, floor levels, wall build-up, ceiling level, service routes, door swings, accessible requirements and circulation. Final production should follow an approved drawing rather than an informal site dimension.

Ask for a project-specific quotation

An accurate quote needs the project city, application, approximate cubicle count, preferred system, drawings if available and the expected installation scope. Final material grade, panel thickness, hardware and configuration are confirmed against the approved project specification. CTA: Planning a commercial washroom?
